Through using Stripe online payments, you can begin processing client credit card payments without worrying about bank transfers or using card readers. This is a great way to help boost cash flow and the overall financial performance of your practice.


1.Setting up and Connecting your Stripe Online Payments account

  1. Navigate to the Account -> Organization -> Online payments section

  2. Click to create and connect your Stripe account. This action will take you to Stripe

  3. Proceed with the following steps to integrate Stripe into Luna


2.Adding a Client's Payment Method to Their Profile

Once your account is set up, you can begin processing your client's credit card payments electronically. Patients usually confirm their preferred payment method during the intake process. If a patient hasn't provided their payment method at that time, they can add it through their profile in the patient portal. Alternatively, you can add or update the payment method directly from their profile in your workspace. Follow these steps to do so:

1. Navigate to the list of Patients page.

2. Select the specific client whose payment method you want to update.

3. Go to the Billings tab.

4. In the Payment Methods section, click on Edit.

5. Enter the client's payment details and click Save.

3.Processing a Payment with a Saved Card

When a client's card is saved on file, you can quickly and easily process payments with just one click. This not only saves you time but also minimizes friction and billing surprises for your clients. To process a payment using a saved card, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Invoices section.

2. Select the specific invoice you wish to process.

3. Click on Action -> Pay Invoice
